Earth Paint & Fire Studio

Amanda is a former kindergarten and special education teacher. 

 After moving to Corning from Washington DC, she wanted to

pursue her love of art.  She often visited her local paint your own

 pottery studio in DC and thought that one would fit in perfectly in

 the artsy town of Corning.  She decided to do it herself, rather

 than going with a franchise, calling it Earth Paint & Fire Studio.  She

 likes all spectrums of customers from week old babies doing hand

 and foot prints, to school age children to adults who bring wine,

 food and spend a night laughing.

You can find her in her studio 6 days a week.  Some times, you'll

 see her painting pottery at the cafe table outside the studio or

 painting inside on canvas.

If she is not in her studio, you may find her teaching at CCC,  

running with her dog, Daisy, working out at the YMCA or

surfing in Costa Rica.

Norman, the latest addition... is a studio dog in training. 

Daisy, the studio dog, who is here during the week, but likes to relax at home on the weekends.  She loves her belly rubbed!
